     Cor Unum is a food pantry in Lawrence, Massachusetts that provides breakfast and dinner service seven days a week, 365 days a year to the greater Boston community. Twice a month, Masconomet’s NHS volunteers at a Cor Unum dinner service. Students help prepare meals, serve customers, and clean-up the establishment.
     We generally volunteer for dinner service Wednesday nights from 4-7pm. Each trip we bring 12-15 kids, and require one parent chaperone. If your parent is able and willing to chaperone any of the trips please let us know. Students should meet in front of the main office at 3:30 to check in and confirm that they are going. Plan on arranging your own transportation and arriving at Cor Unum at 4:00 to start preparing for the dinner service. Carpooling is encouraged!
     Please keep in mind Cor Unum’s dress code. Closed toed shoes are required, all skirts and shorts must be at or below the knee, hair must be tied back, and no tank tops or strapless shirts are allowed. Aprons will be provided, and remember to wear something comfortable.
As the date approaches, we’ll try our best to remind you of the trip. If you need to cancel, please notify the officers or Mrs. Wildman as soon as possible so we can find a replacement volunteer.
